BreatheAmerica Richmond is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Autumn Burnette to its Richmond, VA facility. Dr. Burnette is a specialist in the evaluation and management of patients with allergic disease, asthma, and immunologic disorders. She is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and enjoys treating both adults and children.
Dr. Burnette completed her undergraduate training at Emory University and graduated from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. She completed her Pediatrics Residency at both Tulane University and the University of Virginia. She later completed her Fellowship training at the University of Virginia under the mentorship of Dr. Thomas Platts-Mills. Dr. Burnette has conducted clinical research at UVA for adolescent asthma and obesity. She previously held a faculty position as Clinical Instructor and Assistant Fellowship Director at the University of Virginia’s Allergy and Immunology Division. Dr. Burnette is currently a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
