The Fight for Air Climb
Consider joining BreatheAmerica on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Rhodes Tower in downtown Columbus, Ohio for the American Lung Association’s
Fight for Air Climb.
As the 40th Floor sponsor, we look forward to greeting the climbers as they reach the 40th floor. Many are running in honor or memory of a loved one who is struggling with or has succumbed to lung disease. Regular folks of all ages, some with breathing challenges themselves, firefighters, and first responders all participate. Dr. Pongonis will be there as a climber too.
You can join our team, or another team, or form your own. All participants are required to raise $100.00 for the cause, which is not difficult to do. Everyone knows someone who has been affected by airway disease.
Our friends at the American Lung Association remind us that:
WE CLIMB FOR THOSE WHO ARE FIGHTING FOR AIR….
- … For our friends and loved ones who suffer from lung cancer, the leading cancer killer.
- … For those who struggle to breathe, because air pollution threatens lives.
- … Because our children deserve to breathe clean and healthy air.
